welcome to my website! i'm gimp, i use she/her (insert meme of " im probably nonbinary but i got work tmrw meme") the webmaster of this small site and this is my first time ever (willingly) learning coding. i say that because i was a cs/cybersecurity major at one point, didnt like it and have since largely ignored tech in my life. that changed w/ the rise of the indie web and my fascination with smaller online communities. im in my younger 20s and spend most of my days now gaming, reading, crocheting (specifcally filet crochet and lacemaking), hiking, listening to music, watching (INSANELY) shitty movies and anime and collecting physical media/thrifting. i spend a lot of time replaying old RPG horror games such as Space Funeral and Yume Nikki that remind me of when i was a kid. The previous two listed are probably my favorite games ever. i also play OSRS, (formally) W101, stardew valley, minecraft, and nubbys numbers factory right now. Magic the Gathering is also a game i dabble in, mostly focusing on pauper and commander (with most of my decks ending up being pauper bc wtf is spending money on cardboard bitch be fucking cheaper.) my favorite anime of all time is a two way tie between NGE and Malice@Doll.

my favorite genres of music are rap, hip hop, techno, vaporwave and (generally) most edm. i am someone who says "i like all genres" and means it. whatever song you're probably imaging right now is enjoyable to me too. I tend to bounce from subgenre to subgenre but heres a list of artists I'm listening to right now: Bladee, Death Grips, Sade, D'Angelo, Jodeci, Erykah Badu, telepath, luxury elite and more.

Weed is also an interest of mine. Smoking -- obviously -- but more so with the process of growing it, the history of strains as well as the current legacy some strains carry + strains preservation. in the grows section, ill probably write about the different life stages of a weed plant, sexing plants, research i do on the history of strains, etc to leave my little mark on marijuana history.

One other activity I partake in is collecting. Records, CDs, stickers, card/casino themed glassware, budweiser steins, s+p shakers -- its a large collection of shit. hopefully i can add some pages in the future to highlight my glassware (im quite proud of it) and physical music collection. the one genre i sway towards with record collection is vaporwave/hip hop while my CDs cover a wide array of genres due to me loving the goodwill media section and scrounging around like a grimey animal.
